Friendly disclaimer! We want to be as accurate as possible, but given these challenging times, we urge you to recheck that the venues are open when you decide to visit.

It’s no secret that the Swedes have an excellent sense of fashion and design, along with a strong eco-conscience. So among other great things that have emerged from this perfect combination, is Stockholm’s unique thrifting culture!

For those unfamiliar with the word, thrift is very simply a lifestyle and consumer culture that doesn’t believe in the concept of ‘waste’. For everything from clothes to shoes to furniture, books, and art, there is a market for pre-loved, and upcycled goods that have been donated, resold, curated from vintage collections, redesigned, and much more.

One has to witness and partake in this culture to truly understand it – so here are Unravelog’s picks for unique thrift stores in Stockholm!
