WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A supercell thunderstorm has produced three confirmed tornadoes across Kansas on Sunday.

A Russell resident tells KSN the Quality Inn “got hit hard.”

“The north side of the building every window got shattered as well as the ACs,” they said.

The storm is causing power outages across the state.

  • Emergency Management reports 40 by 60 foot pole arm was taken down, and a chicken coop was blown into a hedge row – Burns – Marion County
  • Large tree limb fell on a house in the 1400 block of East Denver in Park City, causing apartment structural damage
